Guide for personal users: How to customise your course
This guide will walk you through how to tailor your FrontRead course to suit your needs. Just follow the instructions below:
- Go to www.app.frontread.com and click on the “My FrontRead” button in the upper right corner.
- Enter your username and password in the respective boxes and click “Log in.”
- Click on “Administration”.

- You are now at an overview of your admin features. You can see your name, the pre-selected text package, and a record of when you were last active.
- If you want to change the text package or make other adjustments to your course, click the “Edit course” button.

- You will now enter the “Edit course” page where you can customize your profile to suit your needs.
- Here you can select a different text package that better suits your level. Click the drop-down button and select the text package you want.
Note: If you select a new text package on this page, your course will continue from the level you have reached. To start a new course with a new text package, click the button “New course” on the previous page.

- You also have the option to change the difficulty of the exercises in F1, F2 and F3. There are three levels to choose from – easy, medium and hard.

- On the “Edit course” page, you can customise your training course further by scrolling down to the bottom of the page. Under the heading “Customise course” you can enable various features such as text-to-speech, which is the programme’s read aloud function. It will read out loud the text in the programme. This feature is targeted at users with dyslexia, or users who need the text to be read aloud for other reasons. If you are a very fast reader, you can also disable the cap om maximum reading speed. For further info on the different customisation options, hover your cursor over the feature you want to have explained.
To enable a feature, tick the box next to it. When you have customized your user profile to your liking, click “OK” to save your changes.

- If you want more details about your training, go back to your administration overview. Here you will find a graph of your progress, as shown below.

- You can also click “Show exercise details” to get further insights into the results of all the exercises you have completed.
Happy reading!
